Rustichella d’Abruzzo Lasagne are thin sheets of egg pasta, rough and porous like homemade pasta and perfect for holding sauces. They are made with a higher-than-usual number of fresh eggs, approximately 7 per kilogram of semolina. Lasagne are the undisputed stars of traditional and gourmet recipes featuring vegetables, or of a delicious baked pasta dish layered with grilled aubergines, buffalo mozzarella and fresh tomatoes. If, on the other hand, you prefer the classic flavours of Italian culinary tradition, we recommend pairing them with Rustichella d’Abruzzo Bolognese Sauce.
