Penne Rigate, loved throughout Italy and distinguished by their characteristic slanted, pen-nib-shaped cut, are renowned for their versatility in the kitchen. Their distinctive shape and deep ridges allow them to hold any sauce more effectively, both inside and out.
Crafted using certified organic “Senatore Cappelli” durum wheat semolina and produced through an artisanal process, Rustichella d’Abruzzo recommends pairing them with traditional Italian meat-based sauces, such as its red Bolognese or Genovese sauce.
